 Avon Lake's Luke Slogar Rolls A 300 Game

In the NSBC Varsity Conference Tournament on Sunday, February 1st, Avon Lake's Luke Slogar put his name into the NSBC record books by throwing a perfect 300 game at Rebman Recreation. He becomes the third NSBC bowler to be perfect in an NSBC event this season and the 21st all-time.

Alex shot 195-300-193 for an impressive 688 - top series for the tournament. Congrats to Luke on his achievement!

 2026 NSBC Conference Tournament - Lake (D1) Results

The 2026 NSBC Varsity Conference Lake Division Tournament was held on Sunday, February 1st at Rebman's Recreation in Lorain. On the boys side, there were 12 Lake (D1) teams. For the girls, there were 12 Lake (D1) teams. Thank you to all who helped make this tournament a success.

 2026 NSBC Conference Tournament - Erie (D2) Results

The 2026 NSBC Varsity Conference Erie Division Tournament was held on Saturday, January 31st at Rebman's Recreation in Lorain. On the boys side, there were 11 Erie (D2) teams. For the girls, there were 10 Erie (D2) teams. Thank you to all who helped make this tournament a success.

 NSBC Conference Tournament At Rebman Recreation Saturday/Sunday

The annual NSBC Conference Tournament will be held over two days next weekend at Rebman Recreation in Lorain. $9 ADMISSION - ONLINE THROUGH HOMETOWN TICKETING ONLY - FOR ALL NON-COMPETING ATTENDEES! The tournament will be held in two shifts - all Erie Division (D2) schools will bowl on Saturday, January 31st and all Lake Division (D1) schools will bowl on Sunday, February 1st. All teams will bowl 3 regular games and 6 bakers. Champions will be awarded for D1 boys, D1 girls, D2 boys and D2 girls.

All Erie Division (D2) schools (Black River, Brookside, Clearview, Columbia, Fairview Park, Firelands, Keystone, Lutheran West, Oberlin, Open Door & Wellington) will bowl Saturday, January 31st - doors will open at 7:30am, coaches meeting at 8:15am, warmups at 8:40am, uniform inspection & National Anthem will be at 8:55am with competition beginning at 9:00am. The Erie Division (D2) boys and girls team winners will be named at the conclusion of this session.

 Berea-Midpark's Shawn Stelter Rolls First Career 300 Game

In the match against Avon Lake on Wednesday, January 21st, Berea-Midpark's Shawn Stelter etched his name into the NSBC record books by throwing his first-ever perfect 300 game at AMF Brookgate Lanes. He becomes the second NSBC bowler to be perfect in an NSBC event this season and the 20th all-time.

Shawn shot his 300 in the first game, then 242 for an amazing 542 series. Congrats to Shawn on his achievement!

 Lutheran West's Alex Roland Rolls A 300 Game

In the match against Brookside on Wednesday, January 14th, Lutheran West's Alex Roland added his name into the NSBC record books by throwing a perfect 300 game at Brookgate Lanes. He becomes the first NSBC bowler to be perfect in an NSBC event this season and the 19th all-time.

Alex shot 199 before going perfect for an impressive 499 series. Congrats to Alex on his achievement!

 2025/2026 NSBC Scholarship Tournament - OFFICIAL RESULTS

The 2025/2026 NSBC Scholarship Tournament was moved from its traditional date after the season to before the season to increase attendance. It was held on Sunday, November 16th, 2025, at Rebman Recreation. The tournament will be paying out $3,000 in scholarship money!

All scholarships earned are deposited through the SMART scholarship program with the United States Bowling Congress (USBC). It usually takes several weeks for the scholarship notices to come back to the winners. All winners - please watch out for an email from Bowl.com or USBC with the key needed later for your scholarship when you are ready to redeem for college.

The girls were split into three divisions based on averages: 119 and higher, 118 and lower & scratch (no average). Boys were also split into three divisions: 164 and up, 163 and lower & scratch (no average).

The middle school season, which kicked off Saturday, September 20st, concluded with the end of season tournament on Sunday, October 26th.  The following schools are fielded teams this year:

The Middle School bowling season kicks off Saturday, September 20th, with 24-28 teams across 10 schools competing.  The following schools are fielding teams this year:

This will be the third year officially under the North Shore Bowling Conference.  Matt Collier (Avon Lake) is our Middle School Coordinator and has put in many hours to get the program ready for this year. A big THANK YOU to the coaches from Amherst, Avon Lake & North Olmsted who started this program informally 6 years ago.
